I'm not going to lie and say I woke up on Day 2 looking like a glazed donut.
The first week, I didn't notice much. Maybe my skin looked a tiny bit more hydrated, but I couldn't be sure if that was the astaxanthin or just drinking more water.
By Week 3, though? Something shifted.
I was putting on makeup one morning and realized my foundation was going on smoother. My skin just looked... plumper. More alive. I didn't need as much concealer under my eyes.
A friend asked if I'd gotten a facial.
By Week 6, the changes were undeniable.
My skin had this subtle glow — not shiny, not oily, but like I was lit from within. The redness around my nose (that I've had for years) was noticeably calmer. And the fine lines around my eyes? Still there, but softer. Less harsh.
The wildest part? I went to the beach for a weekend. I wore sunscreen, obviously, but I was outside for hours. Normally, I'd come home looking like a lobster.
This time? I didn't burn. My skin had a healthy, even warmth to it — like I'd been gently sun-kissed, not fried.
I looked at myself in the mirror that night and thought: "Oh. This is what everyone's been talking about."
